can run up to
$10,000, depending on size, but they are the world’s largest producer
of small wind turbines. Their Skystream 3.7 residential home
wind
power kit is designed specifically for a grid connected home, and
excess power can be sold back to the utility company, or you have the
option to use electricity when enough wind power is not available.
On Amazon, there is a Sunforce wind turbine
package
available for $800
that is capable of producing 400 watts, which is enough for a small
cottage, RV or sailboat, for example. Wind power kits are not
only for residential use, but can be put to use anywhere that you have
a need for portable power, and they are easy to install.
